Endlessness

This piece was created by Stephen Coburn, designed around the concept of the 'mobius strip', a symbol of infinity. Stephen first discovered the shape at the age of ten when his friend asked him if he could draw a line on a strip of paper on both sides without lifting it from the paper. His friend flipped the paper to create a mobius strip, and proceeded to draw a line on both sides without lifting it from the table. Ever since, Stephen has been intrigued by the shape, and was initially building it for a client before deciding to build it for himself anyway. Having constructed several of these pieces, it is recognised as his most popular statue.
